Join Justine for a 2-hour workshop on learning trauma-informed tools & practical skills to manage & navigate difficult emotions such as; anger, grief, stress, depression & anxiety.
In this workshop you will learn specific methods based on the principles of yoga and evidence-based scientific research, that offer real relief for difficult feelings such as:
- Breathing, relaxation & nervous system reset techniques which bring about more calm and positive states of mind and body
- Therapeutic yoga postures which help you release stress and activate the rest-relax response in the nervous system
- The Polyvagal Theory guide, so you know how to regulate your own nervous system in times of need, as well as resource yourself and welcome more safety into your system
One of the reasons why I use the term 'Yoga is Medicine' is because Yoga has been my medicine in helping me heal & navigate my own anxiety & depression over the years, which has changed my quality of life immensely. And so this workshop is very much about sharing what has worked for me and how you can use yoga as a tool for self-healing.
No experience is required. All are welcome.
