About the event

The abdomen plays a primary role in all systems of medicine and is known to be the seat of our power, the place that influences our mind and thoughts, our actions and behaviours and our emotional nature.

Known as the nabhi in Ayurveda, hara in Shiatsu, swadisthana in Yoga and dan tien in TCM, the essence of our life is in our belly.

In the Taoist healing system each organ holds a specific emotion. If this isn’t treated on a spiritual plane (which it rarely is) then it manifests as emotional imbalance (rage, grief, depression, anxiety, fear) and equally if it isn’t treated on the emotional plane then it will inevitably manifest as physical disease (cancers, gut issues, infertility, tumors, irritable bowel etc)

Organ massage combines methodologies of chi nei tsang (abdominal chi massage) and ayurvedic principles to restore balance and harmony in the most influential region of our body…
